Zenni Optical has great eye glasses that you can choose from. Many of us wear eyeglasses and know how important the eye wear is for us to see and go about our everyday lives. The reason why we wear our eyeglasses most of the day, we want to be in style and look good. This is becoming a very difficult thing to do because of the cost of the eye exam and the eyeglasses. So what are you going to do?
What I did was go online to Zenni Optical, pick out the frames I liked, which was only $12.95. Choose the options I wanted then enter in the prescription needed. Then I ran into a problem, Zenni Optical explained how they needed the PD or also known as the Pupillary Distance to ensure correct eyeglasses fitment. So I thought to myself, ok I will just call my opticians office and request the information.
What a headache that phone call was, my Opticians office did not want to give me my PD measurement. They said that information was confidential between their office and where they have the eyeglasses made. If you knew me you would know that answer would not go over well with me. I proceeded to explain to them that I was the patient and that I was the person paying them for the eye exam and had legal right to this information.
If they were not going to provide me with this information I was going to transfer all my records elsewhere. I then went online and proceeded to do a little reading, I came across this forum http://www.optiboard.com/forums/showthread.php/40851-Got-Asked-for-a-PD-Today-%28First-Time%29?highlight=zenni and just could not believe what was being said. I know this is going to be a hot subject for many of us. What do you think?
